STRATEGY

Amarin is focused on developing its lead candidate AMR101 – a prescription grade Omega-3 fatty acid, which is entering Phase 3 for hypertriglyceridemia.

This program leverages Amarin’s expertise in the field of lipid science, the established safety and tolerability profile of AMR101 from Amarin’s previous clinical trials and the known therapeutic benefits of essential fatty acids, particularly Omega-3s, in treating cardiovascular disease.

Using its internal know how and expertise, Amarin is also developing a new generation of lipid compounds, designed to be significantly more potent than currently available Omega-3 products.

Amarin intends to ultimately partner AMR101 for hypertriglyceridemia with a larger pharmaceutical company for commercialization worldwide.

Amarin also intends to partner its CNS pipeline, which includes candidates for Huntington’s disease, myasthenia gravis, Parkinson’s disease and epilepsy.
