STRATEGY

Amarin's primary focus is to develop AMR101 for the treatment of hypertriglyceridemia in patients with very high triglycerides, and for the treatment of high triglycerides in patients with mixed dyslipidemia who are taking statins. Amarin will progress the clinical program through submission of a New Drug Application to the FDA. Amarin is reviewing various paths for worldwide commercialization of AMR101. While Amarin believes that it could effectively launch and market AMR101 in the U.S., it anticipates that a more likely path for AMR101 is though a partnership with a larger pharmaceutical company.
